DescriptionTester: Software tester responsible for designing test scenarios for software usability, running these tests, and preparing reports on the effectiveness and defects to the development team.Primary Responsibilities:Read requirements and understand testing scenarioPrepare test plan and develop test casesExecute test cases, report defects, define severity and priority for each defectCarryout regression testing after changes and bug fixes are madeDeveloper: Software developer responsible for developing the software as per the given requirements, conducting unit testing, and working with QA to address and correct any issues.Needs to interact with BA to understand the requirements and design the application when necessary.Primary Responsibilities:Read requirements and understand business scenario.Setup Development workspace and understand the architecture around the application.Develop and Implement the Designing as per the scenarios.Debug the issues and fix them based on the use case.Communicate with QA team, understand various use cases and fix issues accordingly.Prepare documentation of the code and its integration with other applicationsBasic Qualifications:US Citizenship Requirementsor Permanent Resident.Currently enrolled and working towards a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, SW Engineering, or related field at an accredited college/university.Knowledge of Java, JavaScript and Postgre SQLUnderstanding of Software Development Life CycleBasic understanding of Web application and backend architectureDemonstrated collaboration skillsStrong communication skills, ability or organize and track tasks in a fast-paced IT environment with a high level of attention to detail.All candidates on the Health and Human Services (HHS) programs must havelived in theUnited Statesfor the past three(3)consecutive years.Original Posting Date:2024-03-25While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above.Pay Range:Pay Range $53,950.00 - $97,525.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
