As part of a new team at Bluestone Analytics, team members will work collaboratively to develop and contribute to a variety of Dark Web operations.As a Software Engineer, you will leverage your skills in a variety of ways to make meaningful contributions to our team. This position supports work on a 1-year contract with possibility for an extension of up to 5 years.

You'll Bring These Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2-5 years of experience in software engineering roles using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • U.S. citizenship with eligibility to obtain a security clearance.
  • Experience using git with Github for version control and source code management.
  • Experience turning user stories and product requirements into design concepts and development tasks.
  • Able to take a software project from idea through requirements gathering, design, planning, development, testing, to deployment independently.
  • Familiarity with development practices like unit testing, linting, code reviews, and pair programming.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs (building, consuming, or both) and working with JSON objects as data stores.
  • Experience with modern web technologies, like React, Vue, or Angular (React preferred).
  • Basic experience in using cutting edge React patterns such as Hooks, Context, and await/async.
  • Familiarity with design systems (Material UI, Ant, Bootstrap).

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have
  • Active Public Trust security clearance or higher.
  • Understanding of basic networking principles like the OSI model, TCP/IP connections, load balancers, web hosting, and proxies.
  • Experience with cloud technologies and serverless architectures, especially within AWS.
  • Experience with Elasticsearch or other NoSQL databases that rely on JSON objects.

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $71,300-$146,200. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
