What You'll Get to Do

As part of a new team at Bluestone Analytics (A CACI Company), team members will work collaboratively to develop and contribute to a variety of Dark Web operations.As the Manager/Team Lead, you will manage the team to ensure completion of contract requirements within the provided deadlines while providing senior engineering expertise. This position supports work on a 1-year contract with possibility for an extension of up to 5 years.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills, using methodologies like scrum and agile within development sprint cycles.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Effectively lead team of software engineers through conducting 1-on-1s, establishing development processes, and organizing sprint planning and stand-up meetings.
  • Motivational leader who can organize a team to complete objectives with competing or challenging priorities and deadlines.
  • Support and work with cross-functional teams in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
  • Strong judgment and critical thinking skills to process and analyze information.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and enthusiastic in dynamic environments.
  • High-output developer when working independently - taking initiative to solve problems and complete tasks.

You'll Bring These Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering roles and 1-2 years in management roles
  • U.S. citizenship with eligibility to obtain a security clearance.
  • Experience leading software engineering teams and managing multiple projects.
  • Experience using git with Github for version control and source code management.
  • Experience turning user stories and product requirements into design concepts and development tasks.
  • Able to take a software project from idea through requirements gathering, design, planning, development, testing, to deployment independently.
  • Experience establishing and defining development practices like unit testing, linting, code reviews, and pair programming.
  • Strong architecture and system design skills both for applications and for cloud-based services.
  • Experience with web-related technologies the span the application stack
  • Experience with multiple programming languages used in production environments, especially Python and JavaScript

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have
  • Active Public Trust security clearance or higher.
  • Understanding of basic networking principles like the OSI model, TCP/IP connections, load balancers, web hosting, and proxies.
  • Experience with cloud technologies and serverless architectures, especially within AWS.
  • Experience with Elasticsearch or other NoSQL databases that rely on JSON objects.

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $86,200-$176,600. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
