Software Engineer, MidThe Challenge:

Do you want to build and deliver a powerhouse system that will uncover criminals' digital footprints for law enforcement? You know a good suite of forensic tools is more than just a nice-looking interface + data and you need the right combination of programming expertise to build a user-focused solution. As a sof tware developer, you'll deliver solutions in a fast-paced, agile environment. We're looking for someone like you to build and enhance the tools and utilities law enforcement uses to recover and interpret forensic data from a production-ready system.

As a sof tware developer on our team, you'll work directly with your customers to overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest approaches like DevOps and Agile alongside frameworks and tools like Flask, Bootstrap, and several proprietary tools. You'll use your passion to learn new tools and te chn iques to implement system improvements and mentor teammates. Using forward-engineering and prototype tools and sof tware, you'll build custom, stable tools used by law enforcement to forensically recover and interpret data from devices used by criminals. You'll code and deliver the solution that supports the current architecture and operating environment, as well as drive future functionality and enhancements.

You Have:
  • Experience with development, including C, C, Python, or Objective-C
  • Experience with developing native PC and Linux applications
  • Experience with secure coding practices
  • Experience with common development tools, including GitLab, Jira, and Visual Studio
  • Top Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with DevOps and CI / CD approaches
  • Experience with Cybersecurity or Digital Forensics
  • Bachelor's degree

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; Top Secret clearance is required.
