- Performed technology assessments, impact analyses, cost/benefit analyses, and best value assessments supporting hardware/software procurement strategies.
- Build architectural and technical plans which provide the basis for technical estimation and a roadmap for the Operational Engineering team to build upon.
- Be an expert within the industry and understand the norms and trends to produce the most effective and on-time work possible.
- Leverage strong communication and presentation skills around complex technical solutions during frequent interactions with both external and internal stakeholders, including technical department representatives, subject matter experts, and other Engineers
- Utilize proven multi-tasking skills when transitioning between multiple engagements across different customers, averaging between 2-5 primary and simultaneously running projects
- Embrace an Agile Scrum development environment with corresponding sprint cycles, work products, and continuous CI/CD processes
- Discovery of customers' critical business issues and requirements and designing solutions to meet their needs.
- Create and lead or participate in customer presentations.
- BS in Computer Science or electrical engineering is required. A Master's in Computer Science or electrical engineering is highly desired.
- Ten years of experience required
- Project management and leadership skills are essential
- Experience developing IT and cloud infrastructure
- Current understanding of best practices regarding system security measures
- Experience in software engineering and design architecture
- Positive outlook in meeting challenges and working toward an Advanced high-level understanding of business analysis techniques and processes
- Must be able to lift up to 5 pounds
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
- Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
- Applicant selected for this position must have and be able to maintain an Active Security Clearance.
