SOW Vantage/Wma Programmer Analyst or Business Analyst
BravoTECH, a leader in IT staffing and staff augmentation services, seeks a Vantage/Wma Programmer Analyst or Business Analyst for our preferred client. This position can work remote. Job Description:Minimum required skills/experience: • Core Java, Java Server Faces (JSF), Java Script, XML, AWS, AWD• Must have PPLUS Good personal computer and business solutions software skills (MS Office, etc) • Analytical and problem solving skills for design, creation and testing of programs • Be able to construct a Technical Specification. • Can do unit/system testing of modified code to verify the results are what is needed. • Can do unit/system testing of modified code to verify the results are what is needed. • Be able to code and test using a technical specification. Sometimes things are missed in the technical specification and just putting in what is in the tech spec may not solve the request. • Exposure to Annuities, Universal Life, Traditional Life Products, etc • Strong Experience with wmA product • Exposure to other Insurance Software (Vantage, wmA, CyberLife, LifeComm, etc) • Good written and oral communication skills • Be able to give progress of their tasks in a timely manner. • Be able to manage their time. • Ability to work as part of team and independently • Ability to work with global team • Ability to directly interact with client internal and external Self starter, agile, and quick. Preferred skills/experience: • Exposure to Commissions/Agency • Understanding of business processes and automated workflow • Understanding key processing in L&A environment - billing, premium processing, correspondence, accounting, disbursements, commissions, claims, reserves, reinsurance, and new business • Analytical skills and capability to generating ideas or solutions for problems • Experience with estimationLabor Compensation is commensurate with years of experience:Please note: All applicants may be subject to a criminal history check and drug screen.
