In this key technical role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, deployment, sustainment and maintenance of DISA Compartment Enterprise Services Organization's (CESO's)Splunk Enterprise platform. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with the Splunk product suite and a solid understanding of data analytics, data management, and security.Responsibilities:• Design, implement and maintain the Splunk Enterprise platform to ensure optimal performance and security• Monitor and troubleshoot the Splunk Enterprise platform to identify and resolve any issues• Develop and maintain Splunk dashboards, reports, and alerts to provide visibility into data and trends• Collect and integrate data from various sources, including network devices, servers, and applications• Collaborate with other IT and security teams to develop and implement data analytics and management strategies• Stay current with emerging data analytics and management technologies and recommend solutions to improve the organization's data management capabilities• Provide regular reports and updates to management on the organization's data analytics and management posture• Provide training and guidance to other team members on data analytics and management best practices and emerging technologies• Act as the subject matter expert for Splunk Enterprise and other Splunk products• Identify and implement new features and functionality to improve the organization's data analytics and management capabilities• Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations• Lead the implementation of Data Governance and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) using Splunk• Design, deploy and maintain Splunk Cluster(s) and Indexers, Search Head Cluster and Cluster Master• Manage and maintain Splunk license and monitor usage• Lead and manage the Splunk upgrades and maintenance• Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to implement and integrate new data sources with SplunkRequired Skills:• Must have active TS/SCI & the ability to pass a CI Poly• Must meet DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level 2 certification (Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, etc.)• Education: BS in Computer Science, Network Engineering, Systems Engineering or related technical discipline• A minimum of 7 years of experience working with the Splunk product suite including writing Splunk queries in SPL• At least 5 years of experience with Linux OS, services, daemons, containers and VMs• At least 3 years of experience with AWS or Azure cloud deployments#techjobs #clearance #DISACESO Job Summary This job is reserved for TCS (Technology and Consulting Services) only. Pay Transparency Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
