Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Administrative Assistant in Sterling, Virginia. This role will be heavily involved in the financial services industry, requiring the successful candidate to provide crucial administrative support to our team. As part of this role, you will be heavily involved in managing calendars, coordinating travel arrangements, and maintaining CRM records.Responsibilities Manage and maintain executive schedules, appointments and travel arrangements Arrange and coordinate meetings and events Record, transcribe and distribute meeting minutes Monitor, respond to and distribute incoming communications Interact with external clients Co-ordinate project-based work Review operating practices and implement improvements where necessary Supervise and train lower leveled staff Coordinate and direct office services, such as records, departmental finances, budget preparation, personnel issues, and housekeeping, to aid executives Interpret administrative and operating policies and procedures for employees. Meet with individuals, special interest groups and others on behalf of executives, committees and boards of directors.Requirements The candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role. Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services is required. Experience with Cisco Webex Meetings is necessary for coordinating virtual meetings and conferences. Familiarity with CRM tools is essential for managing customer relationships. Knowledge of About Time software is required for efficient project management. Mastery of budget processes is needed to manage and allocate resources effectively. Excellent calendar management skills are required for scheduling and organizing tasks. Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with different departments and clients. Experience in organizing conference calls and taking meeting minutes is necessary. Ability to prepare meeting materials to ensure smooth and productive meetings. Proficiency in taking accurate meeting notes is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites is necessary for creating documents, presentations, and spreadsheets. Experience with ADP Workforce Now software is required for managing HR-related tasks. Familiarity with Microsoft Teams is desirable for effective teamwork and collaboration. Ability to schedule travel and coordinate travel arrangements is necessary for facilitating company travel. Experience in handling travel arrangements is required for efficient travel management. Skills in booking travel arrangements are necessary for planning and organizing company trips. Experience in arranging travel is needed to ensure smooth and hassle-free business travel.
