- Strong experience in Engineering solution by adopting Istio service mesh to orchestrate E2E service integrations for Kubernetes, OpenShift and Virtual Machine-based workloads
- Strong understanding on federated Istio, AppMesh, LinkerD, AspenMesh Or Consul service mesh implementations
- Extensive Knowledge with hands on experience in building applications on AWS public cloud with cloud native design, microservice patterns and containerization
- Experience supporting infrastructure for large multiservice applications
- Ability to automation scripting using could formation templates, terraforms, Ansible, Chef, Puppet
- Strong Groovy DSL experience in building multi stage CI/CD pipeline via Jenkins
- Experience in working with various security products like, Contrast, Blackduck, Fortify, CyberArk, Hashicorp vault
- Ability to build automation test suites using cucumber Gherkins feature files, Protractor, Selenium
- Exposure to OAuth based implementation patterns using PING
- Experience in orchestrating Kubernetes/OpenShift based deployments
- Expertise in Log aggregation tools like Elastic(ELK), Splunk or DataDog
- Develop software code using Java, Python, Angular JS, Node JS, and Go Programming
- Strong Experience in frameworks like Spring boot, Spring Cloud, Reactive Programming, Test driven development, etc.
- Experience in modernizing monolith to micro services architecture
- Participate/Conduct roadshows to showcase the reference implementations.
- Provide training and SME support for on-prem and cloud-based Applications.
- Implement architecture approved patterns to uplift the applications from current state as a solution.
- Deep understanding on SDLC life cycle and Application Architecture.
- Capture new reference implementation patterns for CI/CD and Istio adoption in a central repository.
- Participate in Change Management and Agile methodologies.
- Implement CNCF principles using cloud native technologies like Kubernetes and OpenShift.
- Design and develop InnerSource-hosted Java libraries to be used across teams.
- Participate/Conduct roadshows to showcase the reference implementations
- Provide training and SME support and Perform applications Gap analysis between current and target states and Participate in Change Management practices
- Identify and implement standard methodologies in software development by demonstrate agile techniques
- Willing to adapt and learn cutting edge technology
- Should have superb communication skills and willing to work in a team of motivated software engineers
- Willing to get the holistic view and adapt/align technical work with customer solutions and Review and optimize application architecture
- Support existing operational items and Lead technical implementation and designing effort
- 5 years of DevOps/SRE Experience
- Experience with AWS Services (EC2, S3, RDS, Route 53, IAM, ECS, VPC, CloudWatch, SNS, SQS)
- Experience with Microservice Development and Support (Java, Springboot)
- Scripting in one or more of these languages (Shell/Bash, Python, Groovy)
- Experience with Infrastructure As Code (Terraform, Ansible)
- Experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift/EKS
- Experience with Docker and Containerization
- Experience with Service Mesh (Istio)
- Experience with CI/CD (Jenkins, GITOPS, ArgoCD)
- Experience with metrics and observability (Prometheus, Grafana, Kiali, Jager, ELK)
- Experience with Secret Management (Hashicorp Vault, CyberArk Vault)
- Experience with Version Control (Github, Bitbucket)
