Sr Data Engineer to join their team on a Contract to Hire/Full-Time basis

Job Title: Sr Data Engineer

Location: Herndon, VA

Full-Time

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in data engineering space.
  • Work with a team of developers with deep experience in Python, Spark and cloud concepts such as (EMR, ECS, Lambda)Utilize programming languages like Python and Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases and Cloud based data warehousing services such as Snowflake
  • Flexible in experimenting with and learning new technologies, Collaborate with Product owner and Tech lead to solve Business user questions on the data pipelines team supports and resolve infrastructure issues.

Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 5+ years of experience required
  • Hands on experience with Big Data
  • Must have experience with Apache Spark,
  • Experience in Python
  • Expertise in Data Analysis and Data Management activities.
  • Experience with major querying tools preferred SQL
  • AWS/Cloud is Must.
