The team works across engineering, marketing, and sales teams to develop solutions to deliver against this journey. Our core products include productivity, communication, analytics, management, security, and compliance. You will learn partnership and have an ability to impact across many key business functions including product, go to market strategy as well as business planning & development.The Public sector finance manager will partner closely with MSUS Federal team to deliver business insights and drive thoughtful GTM actions for the growth of this strategic segment. This individual will also lead our strategy on sovereign as well as local data center support, proactively partnering across a broad range of stakeholders to help identify growth opportunity and support new initiatives to grow the business.ResponsibilitiesFor this role, the individual should have:Experience with B2B, ideally with a technology company, supporting a SaaS, IaaS or PaaS business model.
Strong analytical skills and ability to tackle complex business problems.
Ability to develop trusted partnerships with business partners as well as field community.
Skills to analyze and present executive quality investment ROI analysis to leadership teams in a crisp manner. Should ensure to drive meaningful decision on GTM investment.
PrioritizeDeliver business insights and identify growth opportunity in US Federal business. Drive thoughtful GTM strategy, support new initiatives to grow the business.
Enable and support Fed team with analytical platform and tool in partnership with Fed Finance team.
Take lead in sovereign cloud, as well as local data center investment & assessment
Articulate findings into high quality analysis and communications, facilitate executive decision making across finance, stakeholder executive leadership.
Maintain good pulse on field execution, risk and opportunity, to ensure we design optimal GTM strategy based on learning and feedback.
PartnershipPartner with Enterprise/industry lead in the team to deliver deal level insights for Fed.
In close partnership with field team, clearly understand area specific challenge and opportunity for local datacenter investment, and land actions to maximize RoI.
ProtectEnsures compliance with company policies, legal standards, and regulatory requirements by reviewing and monitoring accuracy of financial documents and business processes; drives corrective measures. Consults with business partners on sharing financial information, approved instruments and processes, and consistency with corporate policies. Collaborates with Compliance groups to ensure team is current on company policies and procedures.
QualificationsRequired/Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field AND 4+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience
OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field AND 2+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience
OR equivalent experience.
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings.Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of US Citizenship to meet federal government security requirements.Preferred QualificationsStrong partnering capabilities, with the ability to influence others without direct authority and appropriately push back when required.
Comfort working at multiple altitudes, from strategic/high-level projects to detailed analytics.
Expert skills in MS Excel and Power Pivot; MS Finance tools like MSRA preferred.
Executive communication and presentation experience.
