Part of the team responsible for structuring, modeling and quantitative analysis on loan and term FIG transactions for balance sheet and capital markets (ABS/CLO) executions.

Collaborate with various internal and external constituencies including relationship management, credit risk, underwriting, portfolio management and capital markets in pitching, facilitating and optimizing warehouse and term transactions

Focus on quantitative analytics and cash flow modeling in identification of risks as well as development and optimization of structures and enhancement for both on balance sheet and debt securities transactions

Intense collateral performance analysis of consumer and/or commercial asset classes involving large, multi format data sets including: auto loan, consumer unsecured loan, point of sale finance, timeshare, small business loans, equipment finance, and/or leveraged credit.

Understand and comment on and edit relevant transaction documentation.

Understand and implement rating agency criteria across multiple asset classes

Present analysis to RMs and/or credit in conjunction with UWPM

Work with banking team and rating agency analysts during deal process to optimize capital structure execution for clients

Work with auditors to tie out transactions as a part of the deal process

Assist Structuring Head in design, creation and development analytical approaches and tools to promote and refine the expansion of existing FIG LOBs and introduction into new areas

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience

At least 5 years of experience in financial services, sell-side banking, buy-side investing, corporate financial planning, corporate consulting or data analytics

At least 5 years of experience in securitized cash flow modeling or model development with a data science background using consumer, commercial borrower, or customer behavior

At least 5 years of experience in MS Excel and Visual Basic for Applications

Preferred Qualifications:

10+ years of experience at bulge bracket institutions, consulting firms, or in similar roles at other institutions within the structured products area

5+ years of experience in financial services, rating agency analysis, accounting or audit, sell-side banking, or buy-side investing of structured products including ABS and/or CLO

Proficient user of Intex and Bloomberg

Working knowledge of C#/C, python

Series 7,79, 63 Licenses as registered representative
