Req ID: RQ169915Type of Requisition: RegularClearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain: Top Secret SCI + PolygraphJob Family: Physical SecuritySkills:Documentations,Physical Security,Security StandardsExperience:8 + years of related experienceUS Citizenship Required:YesJob Description:Physical Security Officer Sr AdvisorPosition requires an active in-scope TS/SCI clearance and polygraph.Responsibilities:Produce PTCO deliverables in context with the customer’s Facility AccreditationProcessReview required documentation to ensure quality, completeness and compliancewith ICD 705 and/or other applicable regulations (i.e. FFC, CSP, TEMPEST checklist,Site Visit Reports, etc.)Provide guidance to the customer to meet completeness and compliancerequirementsRecord the actions and completed task; and attach relevant documents to theassociated entry.Create and obtain approval for the Special Operations Communications (SOCOMM)messages, documents, and email.Ensure that the customer sponsored facilities are selected and constructed to meetsecurity requirements in accordance with customer guidelines and ICD 705.Participates in special projects as required.Qualifications:Experience managing the physical security of SCIFs and secure workspaces.Experience relating to the accreditation of customer SCIFs and collateral facilities.Knowledgeable with current IC physical security policies including ICD 705, TSG,TSCM.Experience providing construction recommendations for new construction andfacility modifications to facilitate accreditation.Understanding of classification guidelines and program protection plans.Experience serving as liaison with corporate management, government programrepresentatives, and security personnel at various levels to assist in ensuringprogram requirements are met.Experience managing multiple projects/tasks and large workloads.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Strong administrative and organization skills.Proficient with MS Office.Experience updating and maintaining records in customer applications anddatabases.Ability to carry and lift heavy pieces, up to 75 pounds, of equipment both duringtravel and while evaluating SCIFs.WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:● Education: BA/BS in a related technical or military discipline, or the equivalent combination of education,professional training or work experience.● Required Experience: 10+ years of related experience in physical security administration, preferably in thegovernment contracting industry● Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/Poly● Required Skills and Abilities: Experience preparing Preconstruction Fixed Facility Checklists (FFC), ConstructionSecurity Plans (CSP), TEMPEST checklists, and Fixed Facility Checklists (FFC).● Location: On Customer SiteGDIT IS YOUR PLACE:● 401K with company match● Comprehensive health and wellness packages● Internal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your career● Professional growth opportunities including paid education and certifications● Cutting-edge technology you can learn from● Rest and recharge with paid vacation and holidaysWe are GDIT.
