Sr. PLM MRO SME Seeking Sr. PLM MRO SMEs to support Naval shipyard IT systems analysis of alternatives (AoA), operational process mapping and reengineering, and solutioning for the Navy's Electronic Technical Work Document (eTWD) system. eTWD supports and controls electronic work package items for Naval ship maintenance and repair work. Responsibilities- Serve as subject matter expert in Naval shipyard maintenance, modernization and repair operations to support eTWD solution AoA.- Work closely with eTWD technical/functional managers and the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) eTWD Program Office to provide strategic input and to ensure effective implementation of eTWD.- Support and advise government Product Owner (PO) in requirements elicitation and business analysis.- Advise and supervise teams and coordinate the efforts of others in relation to and associated with eTWD planning and implementation requirements. Qualifications- Must be eligible to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.- Minimum Bachelors degree in a related field with at least 12 years of experience providing technical expertise and leadership in planning and implementation of policies, processes and procedures in support of engineering programs for ship maintenance, modernization and repair.- Experience supporting a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) or Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) program including leading or consulting for a PLM/MRO solution implementation.- Superior verbal and written communications skills, and strong team orientation. Location: Norfolk or Washington DC area preferred. Will consider remote with about 25% travel.
