We support all of Amazon.com and AWS with our services, and need solution-oriented thinkers who are passionate about solving problems at scale, thinking through edge cases, and iterating quickly to delight our customers.What is the role?Foundational Security Services is looking for a business operations lead. In this role you will be responsible for the business operations of the organization, covering multiple teams, projects, and goals. You will be responsible for stakeholder and risk management, business rhythms, communication processes, and coordinating updates to Sr leadership on key programs and projects. You will work with managers and engineers across the org to define goals, track progress, and set priorities. In this role you will create, organize, and optimize business rhythms, including: financial planning/control, headcount management and allocation, weekly operational excellence reviews, team/employee engagement, critical program tracking/updates, cross-team initiatives, and executive action item management.Are you a good fit for our team?You’ll love this team if you are passionate about security, and curious how we design security into the cloud and Amazon infrastructure from the minute a server hits our data center through how we securely administer and operate services. We care about your career growth and strive to assign projects based on what will help each team member develop into a better-rounded professional and enable them to take on more complex tasks in the future.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS· 5+ years of experience in program or project management· Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements· Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership· 3+ year experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules· 3+ years of program management experience· 1+ years of experience with engagement and working with security, risk, or compliance stakeholdersPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS· Experience driving security relevant programs across large diverse organizations· Experience handling multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment and having a consistent track record of delivery· Experience handling business escalations with a data-driven approach to build trust with senior management and development community· Excellent leadership, teamwork and collaboration skills· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences· Be proactive in removing roadblocks and paving the way for innovation· Results oriented, high energy, and self-motivated· Experience in analyzing large data sets· Experience generating automated metrics to measure service and program effectiveness and consistencyMeets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this roleAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workforce.
