CACI is searching for an accomplished, senior level RF Engineer with the ability and vision to function on a Systems Engineering scale. The accomplished RF Systems Engineer will join our Technology and Systems Engineering group in Herndon, VA. This position can also be worked partially remote.

This position is responsible for developing solutions for technology insertions, state of the art Research and Development, and new business initiatives valued over $100M.

The Technology and Systems group provides leadership, guidance, and strategic development of solutions that shape and create business opportunities with current and new customers in our market areas. Systems Engineers work with our market and technical subject matter experts applying their tradecraft and experience to best position CACI. What You'll Get to Do:

  • As a Senior RF Systems Engineer you will synthesize and allocate system requirements, and derive requirements to ensure the system architecture is fully defined, understood, and compliant to mission needs
  • You will help to define client requirements for RF solutions including services, products, technologies and capabilities which encompass Ground, Airborne, and Space mission environments.
  • As a Senior RF Systems Engineer you will perform Make/buy studies, and establish and conduct trade studies
  • You will interface with other RF systems engineers, antenna designers, transceiver designers, signal processing architects and mechanical packaging engineers
  • As a Senior RF System Engineer you will conceptualize, develop, communicate and propose solutions that will drive our growth and lead directly to top and bottom line results.
  • You will work with clients in both a long-lead and tactical capacity to help solve their critical needs and challenges.
  • Solutions will require analysis, modeling, design, and test using RF design tools such as MATLAB, HFSS, GRASP, CST, and propagation modeling tools in order to design, develop, and support the DOD clients.
  • In partnership with others, you will define total systems design and technology maturity constraints in accordance with mission requirements, develop system element architecture and design and interface definitions, define system implementation approaches and operational concepts.
  • You may be called upon to develop models and architectural guidelines for current and future system development, and provide technical direction related to the implementation of system architecture by other staff.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:
  • Thought leadership for defining innovative, creative and cost-effective design solutions
  • Must have demonstrated experience in RF systems requirements analysis, system architecture design and signals decomposition
  • Demonstrated leadership in defining RF systems design, collaborating with diverse, cross functional, and geographically dispersed hardware and software teams
  • Experience with Communications, Electronic Sense and Attack (ES/EA) methods, and Ground Terminal design
  • Development of Internal Research and Development plans and investments

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related major.
  • 10+ years experience specifically leading, designing, and developing RF solutions.
  • Active DOD Top Secret required
