Collaborate with client to assess current application and infrastructure landscapes
Analyze and understand the sizing and connectivity requirements for legacy .NET applications
Design and specify Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) solutions in Azure to support application hosting and performance
Lead the lift and shift migration process of legacy applications to the Azure cloud, ensuring minimal disruption to services
Provide expert guidance on cloud architecture best practices and strategies for scalability and security
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful migration and integration
Develop comprehensive migration plans and timelines, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the migration process
Maintain documentation of architecture and migration processes for future reference
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing and Azure services
What You’ll NeedRequired
A minimum of 5+ years of experience in solutions architecture, with a strong focus on cloud engineering and architecture
Proven expertise in migrating applications to Azure, particularly .NET applications running on Oracle databases
Strong understanding of IaaS infrastructure and Azure cloud services
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Relevant certifications in Azure architecture or cloud computing are highly desirable
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
