Job DescriptionThe project involves roof renovations for the AOC. The Dirksen Building has many aspects of historic renovation, including replacing Spanish tiles and preserving history on a $10 million project. This phased-occupied renovation offers a chance to work on an art repurposed project with one of the top general contractors known for their historic preservation expertise.As a Project Superintendent, you will play a crucial part in the construction project team: Represent the company at the project site daily, setting expectations and responsibilities, and maintaining commitments Review conceptual, schematic, and design development documents for constructability, phasing options, temporary protection requirements, site logistics, and other field construction issues Establish project site expectations for safety, quality, unforeseen conditions, housekeeping, and general conduct Plan and coordinate site logistics, including traffic patterns, equipment locations, and storage and staging Discuss quality expectations with trade foremen before installation Arrange pre-installation coordination meetings for all work areas involving overlapping work by multiple trade contractors Authorize purchase requisitions for material, equipment, and labor as necessary Complete thorough and accurate daily reports of progress and challenges Define safety expectations and provide safety orientation for all site entrants Address early safety offenses, correct common hazards, and promptly report and investigate accidents and safety-related incidents, disciplining repeat or extreme violations up to permanent removal from the site.Skills/Qualification

Experience with projects of $10 million or more

Understanding of roof/exterior construction

Ability to obtain an AOC badge

Federal or institutional experience

Work EnvironmentThe majority of work is completed outside at the construction site and in an office trailer where the project is monitored, and daily decisions are made about construction activities. Travel to and from the construction site is required, with the majority of the work done on-site. Day Shift in DC.Benefits:
