Location: Leesburg, VA Description: Our client is currently seeking a Supply Planning Analyst

• Lead analysis for product phase-in/phase-outs, including aligning demand globally, managing inventory levels, and coordinating with supply/manufacturing teams on new supply required

• Establish required supply plans to support product phase outs and associated last time buy activities in partnership with global demand/supply planners.

• Analyze inventory and financial risk associated with product phase outs. Communicate risks to stakeholders and drive alignment through financial planning processes.

• Track and execute on end-to-end system changes which are required as per the product phase-in/phase-outs process. Ensure timelines are met per the planning schedule.

• Communicate with global business stakeholders the status of product phase-ins/phase-outs

• Manage large data sets, interpret data into key information to help support decision making/make decision recommendations

• Understand ERP system flow and how processes are impacted by ERP configuration. Guide ERP SMEs on new requirements as they relate to supply, demand, and product lifecycle management.

• Support the creation of management reports that support operationalizing of the core processes and provide insight to the functional planning team.

• Review and monitor: global demand signals, execution by global teams against those signals, and escalating concerns to supply planning teams

• Partner with global planners to understand demand changes month-over-month, proactively highlight risks to demand and supply plans, and support required changes to demand signals to improve overall forecast accuracy

• This role has no people responsibility and is primarily focused on analysis, execution, and communication activities in supporting the planning function

Qualifications:

College Degree, 2+ Years supply or demand planning experience

• Excellent, demonstrated quantitative and organizational skills

• Knowledge of supply chain related topics (APICs certification preferred)

• Ability to work with others to define reporting requirements

• Demonstrated ability for creating effective reports for others

• Ability for decision making, to work under time pressure, accuracy, prioritization and capacity to make good judgment on special situations.

• Experience connecting datasets and and navigating PowerBI
