JOB DESCRIPTION: The position will provide dedicated support for the supporting infrastructure for the Office of Data Governance and Analytics, including all virtual machines and associated networks, including the Azure cloud environment.RESPONSIBILITIES:- Manage networks servers and technology tools.
- Ensures security through access controls, backups and firewalls.
- Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role
- Proven experience maintaining servers between cloud and on premises environments
- Must have experience with SQL Server Management Studio and managing virtual machines that host SQL Server databases
- Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
- Considerable experience managing a Windows Server environment (2012, 2016, 2019)
