System Engineer

Note: The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work a hybrid/telework schedule within the Hampton Roads area. Job Duties:

• The Systems Engineer is responsible for maintenance, planning, coordinating, installing, upgrading, and supporting business critical applications to include, but not limited to: O365, SharePoint, Teams, GPO, etc.
• The Engineer will conduct advanced administration, maintenance and Operational work with the Microsoft infrastructure, GPOs, SharePoint, and SCCM

• Work with users/departments to address any mail related issues
• Maintain the SharePoint environment and update documentation as needed
• Patch SharePoint Environment and conduct Causative Research
• Work with users/departments to address any SharePoint related issues.
• Upgrading, patching, and maintaining the solutions used in our Microsoft environment.
• Vulnerability management and remediation
• Day to day operational work/maintenance/monitoring
• Working with other teams to provide solutions and support
• Developing processes, procedures, and supporting documentation
• Providing support to customers in coordination with other departments
• Working directly with customers in a support capacity
• Other duties on an as needed basis for team collaboration or initiatives.

• Experienced in GPOs
• Large enterprise systems /solutions
• Server performance monitoring (Solarwinds, etc.)
• PowerShell and Scripting Experience
