Security (IHS) division and reporting to the Chief Technology Office (CTO) leadership group, in support of acquisition and growth activities, this role reviews and provides recommendations to SA, authors, and leadership.A classically trained and practicing Systems Engineer (SE) is required for the role.In support of the opportunities and pursuits, this role will focus on both technical and non-technical solutions that fulfill business and technical performance, cost, and schedule objectives for delivering a product or service.Following the GDIT Enterprise Business Development Process (eBDP), this role would work primarily with Lead Solutions Architects and other members of opportunity / pursuit leadership to review, refine, and develop artifacts and products that lead to winning proposal submissions.GDIT is seeking a Systems & Solutions Senior Director for our Intelligence and Homeland Security CTO organization to help drive the solutions needed to win our most complex and strategic deals!Using a Systems Engineering (SE) approach and methodology for engagement, you will report to the IHS CTO and work with select members of the Solution Architects team, as well as work directly on the review and refinement of solutions for proposals in the IC and DHS market space.You will analyze government solicitation documentation (RFI and RFP), review the content and solutions generated by pursuit team members, and assist in the refinement of artifacts and content to create compliant, compelling, and winning proposals.You will need to demonstrate proficiency and have experience in various mission and technology solutions and capabilities as well as technology products, services and skill areas and be knowledgeable in all areas: Enterprise IT, Cyber, AI/ML, Managed Services, Applications, etc.You will need to be familiar with integration of various solutions into complex IT Enterprise environments, and will follow and report future technology trends.Duties include:Solution Architect Team Collaboration:o Contribute to technical solution strategy throughout the Capture and Proposal lifecycle, from early Qualification through Proposal submission.o Contribute to GDIT win strategies and incorporate technical win themes and solution readiness plans.o Identify and make recommendations to improve solutions and approaches to meet anticipated or actual acquisition requirements.o Co-develop and refine solution design and the development of key artifacts including, but not limited to architectural models, process diagrams, concepts of operation, staffing plans, etc.o Review and refine cost/price strategies, LOEs/BOEs/BOMs, and associated rationaleIndividual Contribution to Proposals:o Ensure readiness of solution and proposal support team to prepare a compelling and compliant response to the government’s solicitationo Coach and advise more junior solution architecture and proposal support resourceso Ensure integration of technical solution with all sections and volumes of the proposalo Review proposals and provide critical feedback needed to strengthen our solution and proposalsBasic Qualifications:o Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experienceo Systems Engineering (SE) certification or demonstrated knowledge/practice of Systems Engineering methodologyo 10+ years of experience successfully architecting technical solutions and leading and supporting complex capture pursuits and proposalso Working knowledge of cybersecurity / Zero-Trust / Identity Management solutions for use with federal and DoD customers around ATO processes and approvals.o Active TS/SCI clearance that is transferable to the IC via DISS or SCo Experience with technical leadership and project managemento Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, growth-focused environmento Ability to motivate teams to perform exceptionally over long stretches of time (during capture) and in challenging situations (during proposal development)o Ability to effectively engage current and prospective customers to build trust and relationships, clearly communicate solutions and concepts, and influence actiono Ability to contribute in the creation of compliant and compelling narrative that best presents GDIT’s solutions and approaches within the government’s requirements and evaluation criteriao Ability to conceptualize and communicate or develop rich graphic visuals that help to strengthen the GDIT story and clearly and effectively communicate concepts and approachesDesired Qualifications:o
