Title: Systems Analyst - Senior - IT Service Management Mergers and Acquisitions

Duration: 3+ months (High Possibility of extension)

Location: Ashburn VA (Hybrid/Onsite)

Job Description and Responsibilities: The Sr. Systems Analyst, IT Service Management - M&A will be responsible for assisting and facilitating the up-front planning and subsequent execution of M&A ITSM initiatives for acquired entities. This hands-on position will serve as part of Product Reliability Engineering organization, providing oversight, coordination, and delivering the activities supporting successful M&A ITSM activities around acquired entities for client. This position interacts with a wide range of stakeholders both within Operations and Infrastructure and, also with cross-functional teams, including Project Managers leading the M&A initiative. Ideal candidate for this position will have strong experience in IT Service Management process and Service Now tool. He/she must demonstrate a strong competency in helping to create and sustain an enterprise-wide environment that fosters accountability, quality, commitment, growth and innovation. A go-getter who looks for opportunities to participate and actively shares ideas for process improvements.

Essential Function: • Strong understanding of overall ITSM process management and Service Now • Experience in working on complex, cross-functional, time-sensitive projects and manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, particularly interfacing with senior professionals; highly collaborative • Ability to influence and drive team members to make decisions and utilize standardized tools that have been developed for the team's use • High energy and comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment • Works directly with the M&A Integration leads and M&A Project Managers to assist, facilitate and support M&A integration activities within ITSM Service Management team primarily focused on ensuring successful onboarding of Acquired Entities (M&As) from an ITSM perspective as well as ensuring services moving into production are operationally ready. • Assist in defining and maturing the M&A integration processes for Release, Change, Incident, Problem and Knowledge management process. • Build extensive data models and run sensitivity analysis to evaluate the business value of multiple scenarios in terms of IT infrastructure/software usage to determine best possible solution for Technology. • Conduct ongoing analysis of M&A ITSM processes and capture knowledge from existing integration professionals through observation and assessment • Assist product owners with execution of technology strategy, keeping a view of the operating expense impact of key decisions • Utilize advanced knowledge of SQL scripting to run complex queries to extract data from multiple sources and normalize it based on technical discussions. • Assist in the creation of standardized ITSM service now reporting for different stakeholders including executive management • Operate with a fair degree of independence, dealing with senior professional staff and managers • Strong knowledge in Service Now reporting to build reports • Work with Reporting team to build and publish interactive dashboards using business intelligence or tableau tools to help technology leaders understand M&A scorecard and metrics

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
• 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) • 3 or more years of experience in M&A IT Service Management Integration

Preferred Qualifications: • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advance • Extensive/Deep knowledge with Excel and Power Point • Must have technical background to understand the key infrastructure products and understand the core concepts behind "running IT like a business" • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to think beyond the problem at hand • Understanding of data centers and IT frameworks preferred • Ability to collect and analyze relevant quantitative and qualitative data sets • Strong communication skills including written, oral, and presentation abilities • Prior experience in M&A technology integration, preferred • Organizational agility and the ability to influence stakeholders and various levels and business functions
