Notes:
  • 12 month + contract position (possible extension/ contract to hire for the right candidate)
  • Location: Prefer local to Richmond; flexible to be local to Cayce, SC office. Will consider candidates who are willing to relocate at own expense

High Level Project Overview:
  • Will need to partner with business partners to support applications
  • Will need to partner with Programmer Analyst for the development and deployment of releases
  • Experience working with the following technologies: Windows/IIS servers, Citrix, WebLogic, Oracle and SQL Server databases, MS Access, RedHat Linux, FTP/SFTP, XML, HTML, Web services, Distributed Computing, Active Directory
  • Preferred technologies: PowerBuilder 12.6, PowerShell, Bash scripting, Java, ASP.NET, C#, WCF, WPF, JavaScript, TypeScript, AngularJS, jQuery, TFS
  • Proficient in developing technical specifications from business requirements
  • Proficient in supporting batch data loads and application interfaces
  • Proficient in IT Change management and IT Configuration management
  • Ability to provide second and third level application support/troubleshooting
  • Experience supporting both capital projects as well as maintenance efforts
  • Proficient in installing and upgrading vendor products in Linux and Windows and Linux environments
  • Prior success working with third party vendor support centers
  • Advanced adherence to formal testing techniques/methodology, consistently delivering quality work product/deliverables; adherence to formal Change Management and Risk Management policies
  • Experience supporting firewall protected applications

COVID Remote Policy
  • 2 options for a hybrid set up – 1 week remote & 1 week in office or 2 days remote & 3 days in office

Preferred Years of Experience:
  • 3+ years experience

Education (preferred):
  • Bachelor’s Degree or years of experience
  • Discipline: Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems, or equivalent technical experience mathematics or business

Preferred Interview Process Overview (High level):
  • Preferred Teams Video Call – will be panel; MUST have camera ON

Schedule:
  • M-F; 40-hour week typically around core hours no later than a 9am start time but can be flexible and occasional evening hours.
  • After a time, they would need to participate in the On Call pool every 8 to 10 weeks.
