Duties & Responsibilities:

• Execution of a full requirements development process• System design including development of architectural products• Develop and execute a systems integration strategy• Perform systems engineering trade space analyses to include cost, performance, and O&M• Participate in test and evaluation planning, execution and reporting• Develop, verify and comply with engineering documentation standards and test procedures• Assist in the development of interim and final reports• Support program management and systems engineering processes and meetings

Required Skills:

• 10+ years' experience working in support of DoD programs • 8+ years of specialized experience in the Systems Engineering discipline across Cyber, Cloud or On-Prem domains • 5+ years DoD Information Technology Experience • Active TS/SCI• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related science or related technical discipline

Desired Skills:

• Experience with security and identity protocols such as SSO and PKI (encryption and key management)• Demonstrate an understanding of transport networking• Knowledge of existing, new, and emerging technologies and how to apply them to new business designs and business models• Demonstrated experience with compliance and risk management requirements (e.g., security, privacy, SOX, etc.)• Demonstrate a clear understanding of VDI, cloud environments, and their effect on Network Bandwidth• Experience with designing, implementing, and system integration using Amazon Cloud Service, GovCloud or Hybrid Clouds architectures• Demonstrate an understanding of network boundaries and Windows systems administration• Experience working with acquisition program offices• Windows engineer/systems administration• Experience working with Special Access Programs. • Experience working at the OSD, Joint Staff or Service Staff level• Possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills om order to operate within the DoD environment • Possess interpersonal skills and experience supporting decision making for senior DOD leadership • Experience with JCIDS and PPBE processes

Pay Transparency

Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards.
