This position supports the GVS program as a member of the Systems Engineering team. Successful candidate will have training (BS) in a science or technology related discipline and experience in systems engineering, requirements development and analysis, and systems of systems verification. Candidate will work within an Agile team environment utilizing Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) software methodologies and processes.- You will be responsible for helping plan engineering activities during release planning events in accordance with the GVS program roadmap and assist the Systems Engineering team in accomplishing the objectives laid out for each release.- You will regularly perform engineering studies or concept of operations (CONOPS) to investigate and proof engineering activities prior to their inclusion in a GVS program increment (PI)- You will work with the government customer to shape on contract growth through RFCs and Surge CLINs.Candidate is expected to collaborate with subcontractors, local engineers, and geographically dispersed teammates and customers.Basic Qualifications:- Experience translating customer requirements/vision into discrete Engineering and Development Features with Acceptance Criteria-Experience with SAFe and Agile Release Trains-Proficiency in Microsoft ProjectThis position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance, with a final TS required to start.Desired Skills:-Demonstrated experience working across multiple teams bridging both sustainment and enhancement priorities-NGA Customer experience-Amazon Web Services (AWS) experience-Ability to distinguish the appropriate level of information to communicate to various levels of leadership-GVS Domain knowledge-Cloud certifications-Agile certifications-Experience coordinating and integrating with other segments to deliver enterprise capabilities-Excellent written and verbal communication skills-Strong interpersonal skills-Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, collaborative team environment-Experience with Geospatial visualization applications or GIS technologies (Google Earth, ArcGIS, MapLarge, OpenLayers, Cesium).
