- Contractor staffers shall work in cooperation with the Delivery Technology Programs’ Manager, Delivery Technology Program Leads and other stakeholder groups at Engineering Systems.
- Supports the development and implementation of new delivery equipment, systems, and system enhancements.
- Supports the development of the project plans, requirements documents, Technical Architecture Documents, logical data model documents, Business Impact Analysis, Business Needs Statements, specifications, standards, and Technical Drawing Packages.
- Supports the integration of equipment, systems, and enhancements to the existing infrastructure. May serve as a technical authority for a particular area.
- Develops and enhances security countermeasures for various delivery and collection equipment. Supports the Inspection Service efforts to ensure the sanctity and security of the mail by developing and enhancing security countermeasures for various delivery and collection equipment.
- Provides continued engineering technical support to the Carrier Equipment program and the development of new Carrier Cases and delivery equipment.
- Supports testing of delivery equipment and systems.
- Develops and documents system test strategies, test plans and test cases.
- Manages updates and revisions of the test plans.
- Conducts system testing based on developed test plans and test cases.
- Documents and analyzes test results.
- Assists the development team in debugging and reproducing reported issues.
- Generates and maintains SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) artifacts.
- Documents and maintain updates on requirements traceability.
- Ensures content is of high quality and conforms to standards.
- Conducts research and gathering of technical information for use in written documents.
- Applies interpersonal and interviewing skills to gather needed information from stakeholders to support project activities.
- Contractor staffers will attend off-site events as needed.
- The Client requires the submittal of reports, documents, analysis, advice, studies, alternatives, evaluations, models, and/or similar documents. After acceptance the Supplier must provide the final softcopy versions to the COR, CO, and any other appointed designee for upload into the Data Repository. This includes any and all backup, reference, and/or related materials.
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the field of software design and system engineering.
- The requirements are for technical support, engineers, software developers and Information Technology experienced system analysts and testing support.
- The contractor shall provide technical design & engineering services.
- The contractor shall provide engineering test services.
- The contractor shall provide software development and business systems analyst skills by IT experienced and knowledgeable staff.

- Pass both a client mandated clearance process to include drug screening, criminal history, and credit checks.
- Please note that any usage and detection of cannabis with or without a prescription will result in a failed US Postal clearance regardless of the legalization under State Laws.
- Once candidate’s resume is approved and interview passed, the agency is responsible for providing drug screening. Failure to submit the drug screening results will delay the security clearance process.
- If a candidate is given an interim clearance, continuation of employment is then based on the candidate receiving a sensitive clearance.
