Job Overview: Location: Vienna, VA hybrid needs to be able to be onsite 2 days a week Job Description: aria-hidden="true" Collaborates with product ownership to translate business need into the system requirements of the product aria-hidden="true" Leverages available documentation and exercises test versions of applications and APIs to understand existing functionality to inform replatforming and enhancement opportunities aria-hidden="true" Investigates enterprise and vendor APIs to determine whether necessary data is available to support intended system capabilities aria-hidden="true" Maps data between interfacing systems aria-hidden="true" Assists lead analysts in developing and prioritizing features and epics to ensure work focuses on requirements with maximum value and are aligned with product delivery strategy aria-hidden="true" Participates in project planning, sprint and release planning, daily stand-up meetings (scrums), demos/reviews, retrospectives, backlog refinement meetings, and other Scrum-related meetings. aria-hidden="true" Performs application and services tests. aria-hidden="true" Responsible for creating system requirement documentation for applications and services, including interface specifications. aria-hidden="true" Provides demos to internal project team, as well as to business stakeholders. aria-hidden="true" Works closely with Business, Quality Assurance team and developers on projects and to address production issues. aria-hidden="true" Demonstrates ability to excel in a fast-paced environment with aggressive timelines that require managing multiple priorities concurrently aria-hidden="true" Utilizes system documentation, database information, application logs and scenario testing to determine root cause of system issues. aria-hidden="true" Have high-level understanding or working knowledge of the following: aria-hidden="true" Services-Oriented Architecture aria-hidden="true" Multi-tier applications (presentation tier/services-processing tier/data management tier) aria-hidden="true" Enterprise and vendor API integration aria-hidden="true" Managing system behavior through configurable variables aria-hidden="true" Error handling aria-hidden="true" XML and JSON data structures aria-hidden="true" aria-hidden="true" Qualifications/Experience: aria-hidden="true" Ability to write SQL queries aria-hidden="true" Problem solving skill Works well under pressure and challenges, team-player, good listener, analytical, creative, approachable, etc. aria-hidden="true" Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to partner with various levels of leadership within the organization aria-hidden="true" Conducting complex technical analysis across multiple products aria-hidden="true" Work in Agile methodology aria-hidden="true" Writing requirements for a system aria-hidden="true" Writing mobile and/or web application requirements is a plus aria-hidden="true" Writing mobile service and/or web service requirements is a plus 4 Reasons to Join Volitiion IIT, Inc.: 1.
