As a CoStar Technical Manager you will be responsible for deeply understanding what drives the business for which you are building. As a member of the Global Research Development Team, you will be working on the Enterprise software applications our employees use every day.RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provides project definition and implementation through hands-on management of a software development team leveraging Agile Scrum development and project management best practices defined by the company.
  • Manage and mentor 1-2 Team Leads with their respective teams; manage and coordinate your team of 5-6 software developers in building Global Research applications utilizing the Agile SDLC. Act as a player/coach.
  • Hands-on involvement in design, architecture and development activities in the creation of applications ranging the entirety of the Research Process
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience in Web and Database technologies
  • Experience in the creation of Enterprise level Applications
  • Solid web development and troubleshooting skills
  • Solid database engineering and design experience including performance tuning
  • Demonstrated expert knowledge of Object Oriented Programming and design patterns
  • Solid experience with: C# .NET and MS SQL Server
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
  • Experience with advanced TSQL query techniques and RDMS database design
  • Experience with AWS EC2/ECS/S3/RDS/SQS/Aurora/Lambda
  • Commercial Real Estate knowledge
