Our work depends on the Program Manager joining our team to provide oversight to the Technical Support Task areas in partnership with the Technical Advisor, and technical managers. You will shape GDIT’s Child Support Marketing strategy in partnership with Child Support Subject Matter Experts.Location: Currently, this role is remote. However, the primary work location for this position is the Department of Health and Human Services Mary Switzer Building, located near Federal Center Southwest in Washington, D.C. While there is no immediate indication of a change in the remote nature of the job, it is important to note that, as per customer direction, there may be instances where we will be required to work from the office.HOW A PROGRAM MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACTTask Area Management

Oversee all aspects of the Technical Support task area including leading and managing the various teams that fall under the general task

Analyze project related issues and create innovative and collaborative solutions

Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, and charts

Collect and organize governmental guidance and requirements. Provide subject matter expertise and support to the client to maintain their enterprise architecture and lead coordination with stakeholders to ensure that all required technical support work is completed accurately and on schedule.

Stakeholder Communication

Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including senior management, IT teams, legal teams, and external auditors, to convey compliance issues, risks, and remediation plans.

Industry Knowledge

Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and regulatory changes in the federal security landscape and provide recommendations for adapting policies and procedures accordingly.

Documentation

Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of compliance activities, audit findings, and remediation efforts. Proficiency or familiarity with project management tools, particularly Jira, is preferred.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Master’s or Bachelor’s in a related field.

Minimum of 15 years of experience working in a similar field (e.g. Child Support, State and Local Governments, Federal Systems, Social and Welfare Services, etc.).

5 Years of experience handling sensitive data sources and distribution of data containing personally identifiable information related to a Federal system.

Must be US person

Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate and thorough documentation.

Collaboration: Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and establish positive relationships with cross-functional teams.

Adaptability: Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, regulations, and compliance requirements.

Attributes for Success:

Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CISSP, CISM, CRISC) are highly desirable.

This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
