The Service Desk has an immediate opening for a Technician-Service Desk-Assoc/ Exp, reporting to Lead IT, Operations

Job Description

Provides support of distributed mission-critical financial applications. Provides customer support by identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving a variety of customer computer software, hardware, and mobile computing incidents. Supports incident management for multi-platform environments that require procedural disciplines and applicable technical disciplines. Performs line-of-business production support tasks including quickly identifying and deploying appropriate management and technical support resources required for a wide variety of customer applications and operational problem events. Position requires knowledge of field and industry practices.

What You Will Do:

• Supports incident management for multi-platform environments that require procedural disciplines and applicable technical disciplines

• Performs routine analysis of business issues utilizing established methodology and tools within functional areas related to the service desk

• Assists in the assessment of current capabilities and identifying customer needs within functional areas related to the service desk

• Provides analysis, ad-hoc reports, and other related information or process mapping, for the business and related resources

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with 3 to 5+ years of relevant work experience

• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, creativity, attention to detail, and oral and written communications skills tailored for the intended audience.

• Basic knowledge pc software and applications (Microsoft Office, chat, etc.)

Other Requirements and Considerations:

• Working Conditions: Will require the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, etc.

• Physical Demands: Requires some degree of sitting (for prolonged periods of time), standing, lifting carrying, pushing, pulling more than 20 lbs.

• Hours of Work: May require extended work hours. Occasional travel including overnight stays may be necessary. May be subject to on-call and call back as needed. May be exposed to moderate noise from equipment.

• The work schedule is 4/3-day shift (6:30 a.m. - 6:45 p.m.) and will be a hybrid work environment.

• The Technician-Service Desk-Associate hiring range is $40,900 - $51,100, annually.

• The Technician-Service Desk-Experienced hiring range is $52,800 - $66,000, annually.
