About the Opportunity

The Technology Services Manager - Advanced is accountable for managing the service and portfolio of client applications and infrastructure. This role provides specialized technical services through knowledge and expertise focused on defining and improving client technology needs; identifies client business improvement opportunities by managing integration of emerging services; and defines and delivers tools, products, platforms, processes, and capabilities that directly influence efficiency of the portfolio. The impact of this role is both widespread and vertical. The Advanced level position is recognized as an advanced contributor and subject matter expert in field.

What You Will Do:
  • Develops and maintains business relationships with highly critical clients/vendors and represents client/vendor interests in the planning and implementation of services for highly critical US Treasury application environments hosted in on-prem, hybrid and cloud-native environments
  • May lead matrixed teams in the delivery of high-quality products on time and within budget. Strong ability to influence teams without direct supervisory control highly desired.
  • Proactively identifies new service needs or business opportunities, defines product vision and strategy, and represents clients in technology planning efforts.
  • Ensures resolution and completion of events, changes, problems, incidents, and requests within appropriate process guidelines. Manages business requirements and scope, and coordinate between cross-functional teams to ensure product adherence to business requirements and approved direction.
  • Effectively communicates with clients and other resources to update and maintain progress status. Key participant in providing input and status updates to senior leadership and executives during project design, build, and testing phases.
  • Ensures best technical implementation methods, reasonable execution schedule all related reports are achieved. Identifies and analyzes service trends and requests fulfillment to proactively anticipate further service levels.
  • Serves as primary point of contact. Ensures the delivery of high-quality, cost effective and efficient services. Ensures planning and implementation efforts related to client`s needs are met.

Qualifications:
  • Must possess both broad and deep understanding of data network technologies.
  • Specific skills in cloud integrations, routing/switching, load balancing, security boundaries, encryption protocols, etc.
  • Broad understanding of how these technologies are commonly deployed in networks to support complex application flows and integrations.
  • Knowledge and awareness of cloud technologies including AWS, Azure, etc.
  • Knowledge of integrations between on-prem and cloud environments
  • Experience in supporting Cloud migrations and hybrid cloud environments a plus
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, creativity, attention to detail (compliance), and negotiation skills to interpret results, develop communications and recommend improvements.
  • Able to present information within all settings in a credible, confident and influential manner.
  • Communicates in a concise, direct and purposeful way.
  • Able to deliver high level communications to broad audience of stakeholders, including technical staff, non-technical business staff, C-level leaders etc
  • Effectively able to tailor communications to target audience
  • Excellent customer service skills and demonstrated ability to interact with anticipated audiences in a courteous, service-oriented manner.
  • Ability to participate in projects at high level and lead major infrastructure initiatives
  • Works closely with project managers, product managers, Scrum Masters and other stakeholders to deliver quality projects
  • Requires strong knowledge of Agile and SAFe concepts and methodologies
  • Agile/SAFe certifications a plus
  • Knowledge of Scrum Master concepts and functionality a plus
  • Responsible for understanding and applying risk management discipline in decision making, and contributing to his or her function`s risk management.
  • Works independently on broad assignments or under general directions as to scope or objectives.
  • Makes decisions within established or widely accepted standards.
  • Achieves assigned/planned results by decisions and actions based on professional methods, training, business principles, and practical experience.
