Trailer Shop Mechanic

Are you an experienced Trailer Tech or Mechanic?

Gregory Pallet & Lumber has a busy trailer shop in Elliston, VA, and we're searching for a Trailer Technician to join our team!

In this role, you'll work with our experienced technicians with a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

Moving trailers around the shop and lot

Cleaning and organizing the workspace

Mig welding (test may be required)

Performing basic maintenance like checking tire pressure and lights

Assisting with repairs and installations as needed

Painting trailers, (spray and or roller)

Adhering Trailer Decals

Changing brake pads & drums

Bearing Replacement

Trailer flooring repair/replacement

Roof repair/replacement

Body work

Greasing etc.……

We're Looking For Someone Who Is:

Reliable and punctual: We need someone who shows up on time and is ready to work.

Eager to learn: Prior trailer experience is required, but a willingness to learn our procedures is a must!

Physically able: You'll be doing some lifting, moving, climbing and ladder work

A team player: You'll be working closely with our technicians.

Has a valid driver's license.

Must be willing to work outside in heat and cold

Good Attitude

What We Offer:

$19hr or more depending on level of experience

(Significant experienced new hires will be compensated accordingly)
