RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in Norfolk, VA that is seeking a UI/UX Designer.

Summary:Our client is looking for a talented and experienced UI/UX Designer to work closely with the product owners and other key leaders to design and develop the UI for our enterprise-level Software as a Service (SaaS) applications. A primary mission of this position is to be a driving force behind creating consistency in our company - not just from the standpoint of -look and feel- but function as well. The UI/UX Designer will be expected to contribute new ways of thinking and offer modern solutions that solve complex user experience challenges. We are seeking candidates that have a strong foundation with HTML and CSS, though it is a lesser need for this role. While teamwork is of the utmost importance, the UI/UX Designer can also work independently with minimal supervision, and take the initiative to constantly keep engaged. They never settle for second best.

As part of the team, the UI/UX Designer will have a unique opportunity to join an exciting, dynamic and closely-interactive group of people, whose focus is to power the tools that run car dealerships and create robust browser-based user interface functionality, using the latest developments in front-end technology. This position will be responsible for working with interaction architects and other front end engineers to implement the web experience.

Responsibilities: Collaborate with other UX/UI designers and front end developers to manage and deploy our design system and component library using Storybook and Adobe XD Attend daily stand-up and the occasional meeting that occurs during the week Contribute to and maintain intranet applications used by the Client Services team

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience as a UI/UX Designer 3+ years of experience as a user experience/user interface designer; Preferably for enterprise level sites URL samples and/or a Web project portfolio demonstrating experience creating great user-centered design solutions is required Understanding of design for scalability, performance, and reliability Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for design and development Ability to bring order to unstructured problems and turn complex information into user-friendly UI design Strong knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 Clearly articulate and defend your design decisions Team player who is comfortable checking others' work and being peer-reviewed, as well as sharing knowledge with team members as needed Strong time management skills and the ability to self-direct when needed Sense of humor and a good attitude Hands-on experience creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs Experience creating simple, usable experiences within a complex systems that leverage large amounts of data but provide simple, intuitive interfaces Experience with Adobe CC applications (XD, Illustrator, and Photoshop) Experience delivering work using a design system as well as contributing to design systems Experience developing modular and maintainable HTML and CSS Experience working with CSS pre-processor such as SASS, LESS, etc. Experience with source/version control like Git using Github or AzureDevOps Familiarity with Vue.js a plus Knowledge of the Agile development process a plus
