- Support analytics tag creation through scripts and custom code within a tag management platform
- Troubleshoot and monitor performance of 1st and 3rd party analytics tagging issues
- Create and deploy one-off tags in critical scenarios using custom code
- Perform User acceptance testing on analytics tags
- Coordinate with third-party Marketing teams for implementing marketing pixels like Facebook, Pandora, CJ pixel and Adwords retargeting.
- Use analysis to define and track key performance metrics related to business performance, identity success and failure points or opportunities for improvement, and provide insights into key business and customer activities on multiple websites
- Create and organize technical documentation including mock up demonstrations
- Consistently meet expectations without close supervision
- Work closely with SEO, Performance Marketing, Web Traffic, and SEM teams
- Supports other team members as needed to support business objectives
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Technology or related field or equivalent combination of education & experience
- Understanding of web development technologies (JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, PHP)
- Applicants must be able to hand-code HTML
- Strong debugging skills and ability to problem solve
- Firebug, Fiddler, Chrome Dev Console, Google Tag Assistant or WASP
- 2+ years of experience using Google Analytics & Google Tag Manager
- Knowledge of/experience with A/B Testing platforms (Maxymiser, Test&Target, Optimizely, Google Optimize)
- Communicates effectively to business users and other developers
- Works well with others in a team environment
