Vice President of Information Technology ("IT") oversees IT operations for the company and supervises related systems and staff and ensures the IT department provides efficient and effective technical support service. Responsible for the overall planning, organizing and execution of all IT functions for the entire company.

What You Will Be Doing:
  • Provide strategic leadership, direction, and guidance to the global Information technology, network services and end user computing teams
  • Oversee all IT functions including technology operations, email and collaboration tools(M365) administration, server administration, network security, corporate network infrastructure and desktop support teams by managing the IT teams which could include server admins, security analysts, support technicians and vendors.
  • Develop a clear vision of best-in-class information technology strategies and infrastructure including a plan for future IT solutions and how those solutions tie into existing IT infrastructure.
  • Ensure smooth delivery and operation of IT services by monitoring systems performance and checking for deficiencies with stakeholders.
  • Consult senior-level stakeholders across the organization to identify business and technology needs and optimize the use of information technology.
  • Direct and prioritize the workload of department personnel including desktop support and provisioning of computers for employees.
  • Develop a strategy as it relates to the organizations infrastructure (computer and information systems, security, devices, and communication systems). Maintain SAN, private server virtualization (Ex: VMWare) and public cloud services (Ex: MS Azure)
  • Establish and manage information security policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Establish and drive business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
  • Ensure information security risks are identified and managed.
  • Ensure adherence with privacy and information security regulations.
  • Provide corporate IT services including active directory, email, system monitoring, back-up and recovery, facility cameras, biometric systems, etc.
  • Inspect the use of equipment and software to ensure functionality and efficiency.
  • Identify the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems and report to manager.
  • Facilitate IT security audits or investigations. Review security related audits and responses to ensure timeliness and effectiveness of corrective actions.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related technical field is required.
  • A minimum of 10 years progressively responsible experience in IT operations with at least 5 years of experience at the Director-level leading an IT department or group of teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated ability to translate technical terminology to clients.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership skills with a high commitment to customer service. Must have a collaborative approach to leadership and management. Ability to deal effectively with a wide range of vendors, service providers, and regulatory agencies
  • Ability to facilitate productive meetings and work successfully in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong managerial, organizational, analytic, and problem-solving skills.
