Adecco is hiring immediately for Warehouse Coordinator in Forest, VA. This is a long-term temporary opportunity scheduled to last until the end of 2024, potentially longer. This role is responsible for daily reporting, attendance tracking and handling HR duties such as documenting incidents, counseling and maintaining quantities of associates in a working lead position.Payrate & Schedule:2nd Shift - $17 per hour (Must have 2:30pm to 2:30am availability)Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and maintenance of reports, daily attendance, new-hire and absentee reports. Maintain and update company organizational charts. Other projects and responsibilities as assigned, including announcements, rosters, employee contact lists, periodic or special report analysis in a timely manner.
Responsible for managing large groups of diverse employees’ questions, concerns and issues in a professional manner.
Provide support to the site training program & client supervisors/managers, as needed.
Record and communicate attendance infractions and disciplinary actions on a timely basis.
Works with Human Resources team & Adecco to interpret and apply company policies.
Coordinate administrative activities as applicable.
Additional tasks as necessary or assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; college education preferred.
Experience in a manufacturing and/or warehouse environment a plus.
Must have experience in managing large groups of associates.
Must exercise and maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
Ability to anticipate problems and embraces a solution-oriented approach, especially in the absence of management.
Strong time management and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Reliable attendance is a requirement.
Must be able to work on the floor as needed, stand or walk up to 12 hours a day.
