- Responsible for uploading, pulling content and files to/from SiteCore DAM and CMP.
- Create/implement page designs from Creative Brief, within preselected templates on the Sitecore platform.
- Read and interpret requirements, ask questions as needed.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Ensure pages are developed within delivery schedule.
- Participate in team meetings as appropriate.
- Provide visual Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) of all graphics; test links and ensure new pages appear and function as expected.
- Troubleshoot issues in partnership with IT and/or external partners as needed; make recommendations for solutions/improvements when appropriate.
- Stay current with technical and design trends in website design.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Associate's degree; bachelor's degree preferred. 2+ years of experience (additional experience, education and training may be considered in lieu of degree).
- Experience and skill set with Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, for creating/optimizing illustrations, photos and videos.
- Experience working with Content Management Systems and the ability to quickly learn new systems is required; experience with the SiteCore platform is preferred.
- Experience and skill set with HTML, CSS, javascript.
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with designers, writers, subject matter experts and other team members.
- Ability to provide online portfolio of work experience (e.g. websites, projects, products).
- Experience with UI/UX optimization and implementation.
- Working knowledge of current on-page SEO best practices.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized. Preferred Qualifications:
- Design school or degree and experience is preferred.
- Experience both as a self-starter working independently, and working within a team to understand requirements and meet delivery schedules
- Expert skill set with Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Expertise with federal accessibility mandates.
