Description We are in search of a Web Developer to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. Our industry is constantly evolving, and we require someone with a strong ability to adapt and provide solutions. This role will primarily focus on migrating from network drives to SharePoint, with specific attention to accounting and financial stored network drives. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: Migrate data from network drives to SharePoint, ensuring smooth transition and minimal disruption Work closely with existing engineers and network drive teams to ensure seamless integration Provide non-technical support to business stakeholders, assisting with queries and troubleshooting issues Utilize SharePoint design and development skills to create user-friendly interfaces and improve overall user experience Develop and implement automation strategies in the 365 environment Use Atlassian Jira, Backend Development, Bug Tracking, Client Side Scripting, and Content Management System (CMS) skills to enhance operational efficiency Apply Agile Scrum, Ajax, API Development, and ASP.NET to improve software development processes Utilize AB Testing, Custom SharePoint, and SharePoint Design skills to optimize user interfaces and overall user experience. Requirements Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in Web Development Proficiency in Atlassian Jira Experience in Backend Development Skilled in Bug Tracking Expertise in Client Side Scripting Knowledge and experience with Content Management System (CMS) Experience in AB Testing Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies Proficiency in Ajax Experience in API Development Knowledge of ASP.NET Expertise in Custom SharePoint Experience in SharePoint Design Proven experience in Sharepoint Development Excellent communication skills Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong problem-solving skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
