Wildlife Control Operator

Nice Wildlife is currently hiring and training Wildlife Control Operators in Lynchburg, Harrisonburg, Charlottesville, Roanoke, Waynesboro, and Northern Virginia. If you are looking for an opportunity to work outdoors and make your own schedule, look no further. We are looking for someone who is friendly, has a general working familiarity with basic hand tools, and who works well as a part of a team and on their own. The rest of the job can be taught. No worries if you haven't worked with wildlife in the past. If you have a passion for the outdoors, and you’re able to carry and climb a 32ft ladder, our training program will enable you to become a successful Wildlife Control Operator.

Pay: $48,000 - 100,000/yr

Wildlife Control Operator Licensing

Duties:

Set and monitor traps for nuisance wildlife

Perform basic construction repairs to homes where wildlife has entered

Work with other team members in solving wildlife issues and making home repairs

Obtain your Nuisance Wildlife Permit (paid by employer)

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience with wildlife, hunting, construction preferred.

Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, ladders.

Ability to carry up to a 32ft ladder and work on second story roofs.

Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
