Job Description
Major Duties and Responsibilities- Provide outstanding, friendly service through daily communication with both internal and external customers
- Ensure smooth and timely process flow
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system
- Track and Trace files and reporting
- Ensure accurate and timely client and vendor billing
- Ensure delivery of freight and timely clearance when applicable
- Interact with customers in arranging their shipments to meet customers’ service standards
- Understand all the elements of the import and export Desk Level Operating Procedure
- Contribute and maintain good relationships with suppliers
- Ensure compliance at all times to regulations
- Network communications, timely responses to emails and requests
- Meet KPI standards in accordance with Company policy
- Completing mandatory training – 52 hours per year
Qualifications
- 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results
- Understanding of ocean, road and air documentation process a plus
- Pro-active, strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in the following software products: MS Office – Outlook, Word, Excel
- Fluent in English
