Accounting Manager

Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Manager located in Seattle, Washington, two days/week onsite. This role involves working with the team to facilitate the monthly close, reviewing the team's progress and work product, and ensuring high quality deliverables. You will also oversee several concurrent audits, including a Single Audit. The ability to work in ambiguity, supporting a team through transition and experience in supporting staff through new processes will be needed as well as strong technical accounting skills both GAAP and GASB.Responsibilities: Facilitate the monthly close process Review the team's progress and work product Ensure high quality deliverables Oversee several concurrent audits, including a Single Audit Work in ambiguity and support a team through transition Experience in supporting staff through new processes Apply strong technical accounting skills both GAAP and GASB Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently Maintain accurate customer credit records Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent paymentsRequirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning Extensive knowledge of Accounting Functions Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Proficiency in Auditing Experience in Billing Functions Familiarity with OMB A-133 Audit Experience in Month End Close activities Proficiency in Financial Reporting Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
