Description We are inviting applications for an Accounts Payable Specialist to become a part of our non-profit organization, based in Seattle, Washington. This role will involve various accounting functions such as processing invoices, maintaining confidentiality of payees, and ensuring accurate account coding. This role will be completely onsite. Responsibilities: Handling the processing of invoices, contractual payments, and expense reimbursements with a focus on accurate account coding and supporting documentation. Ensuring the safeguarding of private and protected information while maintaining confidentiality with all payees. Overseeing transactions posted to the corporate credit card program, making sure they have accurate account coding and all support documentation is uploaded. Collaborating closely with administrative staff across the organization to communicate and clarify finance procedures related to vendor bills and expense records entered into NetSuite. Demonstrating thoughtful problem-solving skills and effective problem resolution capabilities. Maintaining professionalism both individually and as part of a team, emphasizing excellent customer service and prompt payment processing.Requirements Proficiency in Account Coding is necessary for the role. Experience with Accounting Software Systems is a must. Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is required. Knowledge of Concur software will be beneficial. Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is essential. Ability to perform Accounting Functions is a key requirement. Mastery of Accounts Payable (AP) operations is expected. Knowledge of Accrual Accounting is vital. Experience in Auditing is necessary. Competence in using Automated Clearing House (ACH) is a must. Experience with NetSuite is highly preferred.
