In our ongoing effort to expand our exceptional care to regions in the Puget Sound, we are looking for a well-trained, collegial, caring APP who is motivated to provide the best possible patient care in Silverdale, WA.FTE: 1.0Expectations for APP position are as follows:
Weekday Shifts with no weekends or holidays.
4 - 10 hour shifts
Patient care includes treatment of oncology patients, acute/same day visits, long-term follow-up patients, and infusion room oversight.
Approximately 8-12 patients per shift
Covering in-patient oncology patients would be an option if interested, when our dedicated inpatient ARNP is out for vacation/time off.
Qualifications
Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
Current Washington State ARNP/P.A. license or active license prior to starting.
Minimum one year of advanced practice experience (ARNP/P.A) working with Oncology and/or Hematology patients.
Prior experience with EPIC a plus, but not required
Ability to maintain positive working relationships with physicians, and hospital staff, patients and their families
Excellent communication skills and professionalism
Strong commitment to patient care team concept and privacy guidelines
