You will work with all levels of expertise from entry level team members to members with decades of experience, many of whom are subject matter experts in their fields. The duties of the position include:Air monitoring systems operationAmbient air quality program design oversight and implementationManaging projects, clients, and regulatory agency relations and identifying and pursuing business development opportunitiesCritically reviewing and interpreting local, state, and federal environmental regulations, compiling, and drafting regulatory applicability determinations, and communicating findings to co-workers, clients, and regulatory agenciesImplementing regulatory compliance regulations with clientsConducting site visitsOperating data management software systemsInteracting with regulatory agenciesMeeting Ramboll and client safety training and workplace safety requirementsYour starting point for constant growthFrom the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company. For this role, your starting point is:B.S./M.S. degree in relevant science (environmental) or engineering discipline (chemical, environmental, civil, or similar)15+ years of experience in Air Sciences and Air Monitoring Systems in a consulting environmentDetailed knowledge of US EPA ambient air monitoring regulatory requirements, siting guidance, operational parameters, quality assurance, and data reportingExperience installing and operating ambient air quality networksExperience with installation and operation of US EPA approved monitoring instrumentationExperience preparing quality assurance project plans (QAPPs) for ambient air monitoring networksExperience managing data collection systems, data validation, and data reportingExperience implementing quality assurance programs for ambient air monitoring networksAbility to manage multiple projects, field staff, and coordinate with vendors and clientsProficiency in air monitoring software systems data managementDemonstrated experience with regulatory reportingStrong written and oral communication skillsDemonstrated capabilities in understanding, interpreting, and applying environmental regulations to real-world situationsExcellent analytical and organizational skillsFlexibility and adaptability to work effectively with multiple project deadlines, prioritizing projects, and delivering quality work products on tight timelinesDemonstrated business development capabilities are a plusSalary Transparency StatementAt Ramboll, your base pay is only part of your overall total compensation package.
