Android Developer

Title: Android Developer Location: Bellevue, Washington Type: Contract We expect you to be a passionate Android Developer who is excited about new technologies and is QA obsessed to ensure our data collection is consistent and reliable. Act as a technical reference and subject matter expert in all areas of the application development lifecycle Key skills experience and traits required: 8+ years of experience with mobile application development and/or diagnostics applications Translate complex functional and technical requirements into detailed development tasks Deep understanding in Android architecture components and framework (e.g. Kotlin) Deep understanding of design patterns especially on dependency injection using Hilt Strong knowledge of Android or Linux performance tools and security models Strong knowledge of Android SDK NDK JNI and IPC mechanisms Experience with embedded programming on Linux and/or RTOS Experience working with device OEMs (e.g. Samsung Motorola etc) is desirable . Write meaningful unit tests as part of the CI/CD pipeline Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
