Method Homes is in search of an Architectural Designer II/Interior Designer to contribute to the growth of our Architecture and Construction business. Method Homes and Method Architecture specialize in designing, constructing, and selling bespoke, enduring, sustainably built, prefabricated modular homes. This is a full time, hybrid-remote position based out of Seattle Office with travel one day a week at our constructed Ferndale production facility.

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

- Minimum of 2+ years of previous architecture/interiors/construction experience, with knowledge of the custom home-building industry, project documentation

- Preference towards NCIDQ Certification/CIDA Accredited School/Bachelor of Architecture

- Strong knowledge and passion in interior design, specification and detailing

- Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, BIM, Bluebeam, Enscape, Excel

- Proficiency in 2D/3D drawings (digital or hand sketches) for communicating design ideas

- Strong organizational, communication and presentation skills with clients and teammates

- Ability to balance, prioritize and keep track of multiple tasks across multiple projects

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Generating and conducting finish plans, interior elevations, rendered views and lighting/switching plans

- Assisting teams in picking up project specific markups

- Drafting of house plans including renderings, floorplans, elevations, interior elevations, lighting plans and finish plans

- Assisting the Lead Estimator in specification documentation, scope markups and finish takeoffs

- Coordinating with outside architects on their specifications and interior elevations

- Conducting compatibility review of selected finishes/specs with project specific elements

- Coordinating and communicating with design consultants, the Architectural, Design and Factory teams

- Collaborating with the Principal Architect/Lead Estimator to utilize BIM for improved documentation and estimation workflows

- Refining current finish/appliance/lighting specification standards in collaboration with our Principal Architect and Factory teams

Wage Scale: $65,000 to $75,000/annual
