About the Role

We’re seeking a proactive, organized, and people-savvy Assistant Community Manager to assist with the daily operations of two apartment communities and an RV park. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys building relationships with residents, and takes pride in maintaining welcoming and well-run properties.

Key Responsibilities

Resident Relations:

o Serve as the primary point of contact for residents

o Handle inquiries, complaints, and service requests with professionalism and care

o Foster a positive community atmosphere

Property Oversight:

o Conduct regular inspections of common areas

o Coordinate maintenance and repairs with vendors and contractors

o Ensure compliance with safety standards and local regulations

Leasing & Occupancy:

o Show available units to prospective renters

o Assist applicants through the application process

o Conduct lease signing appointments at move-in and renewal

o Administer rent increase schedule and issue notices

o Adhere to fair housing and all local laws/ordinances

Administrative Duties:

o Collect rent and manage financial records

o Maintain accurate documentation for leases, notices, and resident communications

o Prepare reports for ownership or management

Vendor & Staff Coordination:

o Schedule contractors

o Manage vendor relationships and service contracts

o Help obtain bids for work that is contracted out

Qualifications

Prior experience in property management or hospitality preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Basic understanding of property maintenance and building systems

Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office

Ability to handle emergencies and resolve conflicts calmly and efficiently

High school diploma or equivalent; college degree a plus

Hourly wage $24-$27/hour, depending on experience
