Backfill for Controller as provided
Urge accountability and the meeting of deliverables
Uphold to ensure a competent, trained staff through development, regular assessment, and goal setting
Guide the accounting team during the closing process to arrange that deadlines are met
Developed preparation and coordination of fiscal year-end audits
Confirm regular account reconciliation to completion
Establish relevant and timely reports on financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook
Put together diversified policies, procedures, and technical accounting analyses
Supplementary duties as assigned
Partake in the preparation of GAAP financial statements, including budgeting and forecasting
Maintain implementation and insure adherence to accounting policies and procedures
Discern and establish process improvements to streamline reporting and improve team efficiency
Sort out and construct Ad Hoc financial reports
Requirements - CPA an added bonus
5+ years of general ledger accounting experience
Be able to prioritize workload and perform in a fast-paced and challenging environment
Monthly Financial Statements experience
Practical knowledge of account reconciliation
Year end closings experience
Month end closings experience
General familiarity with Balance Sheet Reconciliation
Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation experience highly preferred
General Accounting experience desired
Adeptness in Credit Card Reconciliation
Demonstrated knowledge of bank reconciliations
General ledger experience
Deep technical background in public accounting (GAAP)
Crucial accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred
Candidate must possess first-rate analytical, quantitative and social skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening)
Significant experience in enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
