Aerotek on behalf of its client, is seeking a qualified Avionics Technician with Garmin integration experience. $40-60/hour DOE, per diem split available. Day shift Mon-Fri hangar shop. Must have Garmin experience.

The Avionics Technician is responsible for install, integration, and troubleshooting/testing of Avionics packages for rotary-wing aircraft, including Airbus, Bell, and other models. End users include private & corporate owners, hospital and medevac organizations, and law enforcement.

Technician will install pre-kitted upgrades and repairs and wire harnesses by consulting blueprints, installing, terminating and extensive troubleshooting, and coordinating with other mechanics and inspectors to complete task cards.

Will also perform some lead functions such as advising other technicians on troubleshooting and installs, submitting tracking reports, and planning install schedule in partnership with DOM.

AStars, MD500s, EC135 & 145, among others.

4+ years of Avionics installs and troubleshooting

Minimum of 2 years of Garmin integration experience

Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, layout and install avionics packages, terminate and troubleshoot aircraft wiring

Must own tools

Airframe license preferred
